Nextlink, Covad partner on wireless broadband

Wireless broadband provider Nextlink Wireless and landline broadband operator Covad Communications announced a partnership that will allow Covad to deploy higher-speed wireless Ethernet services nationally using Nextlink's LMDS spectrum in the 28 GHz to 31 GHz band. Covad's new offering will include access speeds as fast as 25 Mbps per subscriber location to deliver real-time services like VoIP to the enterprise marketplace.
