Nokia-Siemens to share portfolio next month

Nokia and Siemens announced that their joint venture of their respective networking units will start sharing its product portfolio plans with customers and employees in early February, an announcement we believe is timed to make it a hot topic at the upcoming 3GSM show in Barcelona next month. In December, Nokia announced it would delay the deal because of the corruption probe into Siemens, but today the two companies announced the merger will run its course before the end of March. The full integration of the two portfolios should be achieved in early 2011--pushed back from the original plan to integrate by the end of 2010.
