NSN's Suri reportedly in the running to head up Nokia

Rajeev Suri is currently being considered for the CEO position of Nokia (NYSE:NOK) after the company completes the sale of its handset division to Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), according to a Bloomberg report. Suri, currently the chief executive of network equipment provider Nokia Solutions and Networks, is one of a number of insiders under consideration for the role, according to the report, which cited unnamed sources. On completion of the handset sale to Microsoft, expected to be finalized in the next few months, Nokia will retain three main operating divisions: the NSN networks business, the HERE location services business, and Advanced Technologies, which is responsible for managing and licensing Nokia's extensive patents portfolio. NSN is by far the largest of Nokia's units. A Nokia spokesperson declined to comment, according to Bloomberg. Article
