Qwest Wireless Launches New National Plans
Individual and Shared Plans Include Free Phones, $9.99 Add-a-Line; Great Benefits for Families and Business Customers
DENVER--Qwest Communications International, Inc. (NYSE: Q) today announced that Qwest Wireless is launching two new, national wireless plans. Qwest Wireless National® and Qwest Wireless National Shared® provide many significant benefits for families and business customers including competitive pricing, no automatic roaming charges, free Unlimited Nights and Weekends starting at 9 p.m., and the ability to add multiple lines to a shared plan for just $9.99 each.
Qwest Wireless National Plans provide the latest features and great value with a 500-minute plan at just $39.99 per month. Customers receive additional value and cost savings when they bundle their wireless service with other qualifying Qwest services. With eligible Qwest local service and Qwest Wireless plans, customers can call their affiliated home or business number from their wireless handset for free – without using minutes from their wireless plan when calling from the network area.
National Plan customers with Qwest local service also can choose to simplify their lives with one phone number for their wireless and home phone with Qwest One Number Service®. And, they can check all their phone messages from one voice mailbox with Voice Messaging Link® at no additional charge.

Qwest Wireless National and Qwest Wireless National Shared plan customers can choose one of several free handsets (after mail-in rebate with a 2-year agreement). Customers with a qualifying bundle that order by Feb. 17, 2006 can choose the ultra-slim SANYO Katana as their free phone, or take advantage of special buy-one, get-one offers on other Sanyo handsets. Special pricing is also available on other premium handsets such as the multimedia Samsung A920 music phone for just $99.99 (after $40 mail-in rebate with a 2-year agreement).
Existing Qwest Wireless customers can maintain their current plan or may call in to select a Qwest Wireless National or Qwest Wireless National Shared Plan immediately without extending their contract. Residential customers with a qualifying Qwest bundle including Qwest Digital Voice and Qwest Wireless may also be eligible for free long-distance from their home phones all weekend and after 7 p.m. on weekdays.
