Report: 400K unlocked iPhones on China Mobile

According to a report from In-Stat, as many as 400,000 unlocked iPhones have found their way onto China Mobile's network. That figure makes up more than 10 percent of Apple's 3.7 million iPhones sold in 2007 and could account for the "missing iPhones" that many industry pundits pointed out during Apple's last quarterly results. While In-Stat points out that this is a lost opportunity for Apple in that it won't recoup revenue from a deal with China Mobile, it does show that people want the iPhone.
