Report: Global base station market grew nearly 60% in 2007

According to a new report from EJL Wireless Research, the global base station market grew by 58.5 percent in 2007. The firm said the GSM/EDGE base station market continues to exceed the company's projections, while WCDMA shipments saw 114.4 percent growth. Nokia Siemens was the top OEM globally for WCDMA, while Ericsson held its spot as the largest GSM supplier. ZTE and Alcatel-Lucent co-led the CDMA market. Article
