Report: T-Mobile angling for iPhone deal

A report out the U.K. today says that T-Mobile International may be in the lead to win the coveted iPhone distribution deal in the U.K. The report says that T-Mobile is currently leading because it has been actively pushing its brand into the music market.

This isn't the first rumor to surface regarding European distribution of the iPhone. In January, a report in The Times said that Telefonica was the front runner. Telefonica owns O2 in the U.K. and is competing with T-Mobile, Vodafone and Orange, according to the report.

Of course here in the U.S. AT&T has the exclusive distribution deal for Apple's iPhone, which is set to launch next month.
