According to a report from J.D. Powers & Associates, Virgin Mobile USA has the best overall customer satisfaction among prepaid mobile phone service providers. This marks the second year that Virgin Mobile USA has come out on top (as well as the second year that the report has come out). Prepaid customers ranked call quality (24 percent) as the most important factor for customer satisfaction, while company image (19 percent), cost of service (17 percent), account management (15 percent), initial activation (11 percent), service plan options (8 percent) and customer service (6 percent). On a 1,000 point scale the prepaid industry has achieved 727 points of satisfaction, which includes a ten point raise from last year.
