Research firm Dell'Oro Group said worldwide wireless equipment revenues were $8.41 billion in third quarter. Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) remained the market leader in wireless gear during the period, followed by Huawei, Nokia Siemens Networks and Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE:ALU). However, Dell'Oro analysts noted that Alcatel-Lucent has steadily gained market share every quarter since the fourth quarter of 2009. The firm also predicted that the wireless equipment market will grow about 5 percent in 2011. Article
