Cingular Wireless and cable TV network HBO are in talks to create a mobile content distribution partnership. If this deal goes through, it would mark one of the most extensive wireless content deals to date. According to insiders, the deal could create mobile content optimized for handsets, including mobile versions of HBO's series and other programs. The proposed deal is getting lots of attention for two reasons: Cingular is the nation's largest wireless carrier, and HBO is the star property in the Time Warner media empire.
