According to a report from BusinessWeek, SBC Communications plans to use AT&T's brand once the merger of the two carriers is completed. The move is designed to give SBC a major boost by giving the company access to one of the most recognized brands in corporate America. Critics of the move, however, claim that AT&T's name isn't what it used to be, and that SBC may not get as much out of the change as it expects.
