Samsung: GalaxyTab 10.1 launch on track, no changes planned

Samsung shot down speculation that it will make changes to its Android-powered GalaxyTab 10.1 tablet. The company said that the product launch is still on track and that there will be no design changes to the device. A report last week quoted Lee Don-Joo, Samsung's executive vice president of its mobile communications division, as noting that Samsung will "have to improve the parts (of the GalaxyTab 10.1) that are inadequate" to Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) new iPad 2. Samsung first introduced its new tablet last month, and Apple released its new iPad last week. Article
