Samsung to sue Asian handset makers

South Korea's Samsung Electronics plans to file lawsuits against several mobile phone makers in Taiwan, mainland China and Hong Kong, alleging these vendors have copied its products and breached its patents. The lawsuits will claim that the companies copy the designs and functions of Samsung mobile phones and leak secret Samsung documents. The suits will target phone designs from Taiwan's Taung, Sampo and DNET, as well as Hitachi from Japan.
