Security questions hound WiMAX

Light Reading brings up an interesting question when it comes to Sprint Nextel's decision to deploy WiMax in the 2.5 GHz band. How is it going to secure the network? The same kinds of attacks we've seen against 802.11 WiFi standards are likely to be used against WiMax. Experts anticipate we'll see similar problems plaguing WiMax, namely weak management protocols and vulnerable applications. You can bet competitors will play up this one in the business market.
