Siemens not satisfied with Nokia JV

Siemens CEO Peter Loescher said in a statement that the company is "absolutely not satisfied with NSN [Nokia Siemens Networks]." Loescher plans to reshuffle the management at Siemens so that the corporate structure holds divisional managers more responsible for their business' performance. Siemens will be restructured to reflect its three main sectors: infrastructure and industry, energy and medical technology. Loescher stressed that Siemens "was, is and will remain an integrated technology company," but he will determine which products will be kept and which will be abandoned. Siemens' board will see the full details of Loescher's plan at its November 28 meeting.
