Sling Media has launched SlingPlayer Mobile, software that allows users to transport their in-home television service to their cell phone or PDA and use those WiFi and 3G devices to control their home TVs remotely. The software is compatible with all Windows Mobile OS versions. The company is best known for its Slingbox offering, which allows travelers to transport their home TV service over the Web for remote viewing over high-speed Internet connections.
