SPOTLIGHT: 28% have browsed Internet with mobiles

According to a recent study conducted by Ipsos Insight, 28 percent of mobile phone users worldwide have browsed the Internet with a mobile device. The markets with the highest growth include France, the U.K. and Japan. Four-in-10 adults browse the Internet on their wireless handsets today in Japan, double the percentage for that country in 2003. Older users (35 and up) drove the worldwide growth, a sure sign that mobile browsing of the Internet is out of the early adopter stage. Article
