SPOTLIGHT: BlueTooth SIG unveils TranSend

The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) unveiled a new app for Bluetooth called TransSend, which allows BlueTooth users to send information highlighted in a web browser to a cell phone or other handheld over the Bluetooth connection. The application is faster than a full-on sync and more flexible, since it allows users to send any arbitrary information from a browser to the mobile device. Supported formats include .txt, vNote, .png, .gif, .jpg, and .wmf. Article
