Thanks to the success of i-mode, NTT DoCoMo has been heralded as the champion for mobile data for almost a decade. According to a recent interview with DoCoMo CEO Masao Nakamura, however, only 20 percent of DoCoMo's subscribers use mobile data for anything more complicated than simple messaging.
