Google's CEO Eric Schmidt sung the iPhone's praises at a conference in France, while noting the phone makes for an ideal platform for his company. "iPhone is a powerful new device and is going to be particularly good for the apps that Google is building," Schmidt said. "You should expect other announcements from the two companies over time."
