SPOTLIGHT: iPhone speculation surfaces, again

Dare we mention it again? A research analyst from Piper Jaffray who covers Apple said there is proof the company is making its own iTunes-enabled mobile phone and could release the phone in the next four to six months. Gene Munster said there is "more tangible evidence of the existence of the iPhone from the resource files in the new iTunes 7." The latest iTunes software release last week includes messages that suggest features for a mobile phone. These messages include information about copying games and syncing photos to cell phones.
