SPOTLIGHT: Leap swings to Q4 loss

Leap Wireless swung to a Q4 loss of $39.4 million from a net income of $5 million because operating expenses eclipsed revenue gains. Revenue grew 37 percent to $314.5 million, up from $228.9 million a year ago. Operating expenses, however, rose 49 percent to $324.1 million. Analysts were anticipating a loss of 35 cents per share, not the 60 cents per share actually reported. Article
