SPOTLIGHT: MIT, Nokia establish facility for next-gen technology

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Nokia have set up a new facility in Cambridge to collaborate on next-generation communications software and hardware, including the examination of improved speech recognition on handsets and next-generation security. The two partnered about 20 years ago on research efforts but now the joint center will allow MIT and Nokia to have daily interaction to quickly push new technologies into Nokia products. Article
