Motorola plans to start selling phones the day after they are announced, breaking tradition with the forward looking announcements most OEMs make months in advance of a release. The RAZR's success has led some to compare Motorola's sense of form and style to Apple. The companies joint release of the iTunes ROKR phone met with general humdrum, partly because Apple released the iPod Nano at the same event but also because all the phones features were known by the time it hit market.
