Cingular Wireless and Oz have launched a mobile email service for nonbusiness users to get mobile access to their personal email accounts from AOL, Yahoo and MSN Hotmail on their mobile phone. The companies will offer the Java-based email application as a download for five of Motorola's handset models and one from Samsung. The application will be pre-installed on phones that operate on Cingular's network soon. The service itself requires no monthly fees but does require the user to have one of Cingular's data services plans. The companies did not release the financial details of the deal. Article
