SPOTLIGHT: Sprint taps Samsung for DC WiMAX


Sprint Nextel has selected Samsung as its provider of WiMAX infrastructure for the Washington, DC and Baltimore areas. Last August, Sprint agreed to work with Samsung on its WiMAX initiatives, but this marks the first announced contract. By late 2007, Sprint expects to launch commercial service for the area. Release
