Wireless location provider TruePosition has sued Andrew Corp. for infringement of a patent pertaining to technology that can pinpoint the location of mobile phones using the network control channel, which TruePosition says is important for safety and security applications. TruePosition's lawsuit targets Andrew's international business and seeks a permanent injunction. Andrew has sued TruePosition before for patent infringement. Andrew agreed to pay the company $35 million and provide warrants to purchase 1 million shares of Andrew's common stock. Release
