SPOTLIGHT: VoIP Over-hyped


Forrester Research warns that VoIP may be over-hyped. The researcher notes that even among VoIP-aware consumers, a full 70 percent have no interest in switching to a VoIP service. The problem, according to Forrester, is that providers still haven't made a compelling case for their services. On the other hand, the report finds that cheap long distance is a strong selling point for those consumers who are already interested in and inclined to adopt VoIP. Article
