Sprint debuts the Palm Treo 755p

The long-rumored and much awaited Palm Treo 755p has arrived at Sprint Nextel in two colors: midnight blue or burgundy. (The one that made its way to the Fierce offices was the midnight blue option, although, we weren't given a choice.) The 755p becomes available to Sprint subscribers on May 14 and will replace the older Treo 700p. New features on the latest Treo include IM, Google Maps for Mobile and more. The handset retails for $280 and is certainly not going to win any accolades for its thick form factor, but such is the style.
