Sprint Power Pack subs get unlimited SMS for $10

Sprint Power Pack customers can now purchase an unlimited SMS package for $10 per month or $20 per month for the family plan subscribers who already pay $69.99 or more a month. The Sprint release points to a recent NPD study that shows that the percent of text messagers has risen from 35 percent of mobile phone users in May 2006 to 40 percent of mobile phone users in October of last year. Power Pack subscribers can also begin their unlimited minutes on nights and weekends starting at 6 p.m. instead of 7 p.m. by paying an additional $5 a month. Those Power Pack family plan customers with a bill of $69.99 or higher can get the extra hour of unlimited talking for an additional $10 per month.
