T-Mobile introduces myFaves

T-Mobile USA has answered Alltel's My Circle with its own version, myFaves, a new personalized user interface on its handsets that visually displays photos or icons representing the user's top five contacts. myFaves users have unlimited any-network calling minutes for their top five people, who may use another carrier's service, even a landline. Domestic numbers only, of course. Alltel has a similar service, but its MyCircle offering gives its subscribers 10 any-network, any time of day contacts. Alltel's online marketing efforts poke fun at T-Mobile's offering for being only half as generous.
