TerreStar picks Accenture for 4G network

TerreStar Networks, which plans to build a 4G all-IP integrated satellite/terrestrial network in North America, picked Accenture to help it achieve its goal. Specifically, TerreStar will use Accenture to help it with its OSS and BSS deployment and global service delivery platform.

The company says it will offer a wholesale business model and allow other wireless carriers, third party developers and portal companies to use its 4G network. The company plans to roll-out its network in late 2008 or early 2009.
