Time Warner invests $7.5M in mobile game firm Glu

Time Warner invested $7.5 million in Glu Mobile, a mobile game publisher. The investment is part of Glu Mobile's fourth round of financing, which closed at $27.75 million. The move is part of Time Warner's larger strategy to enhance its presence in the mobile content market. Glu Mobile was formed out of a merger of Sorrent and Macrospace. Sorrent was a member of the 2003 FierceWireless Fierce 15, an annual list of the top emerging wireless companies.
