Trend: European enterprises edgy about wireless email

According to a new study by Frost and Sullivan, European enterprises are concerned about data security, ownership costs and seeing a return on investment of wireless email applications for their workers. The study does see considerable growth in the European market for such applications because of the existence of millions of untapped corporate and private email accounts. Applications vendors, security vendors and mobile operators have to work together to educate the enterprise and end-users about security issues if they want to tap into the market. The study also found that many enterprises don't think they will see a return on investment within a reasonable period.
