Trend: Mobile content not marketed to women

According to a recent study by LogicaCMG, with the right approach mobile content services could triple their sales to women. If techniques remain the same, the study cautions a significant number of women will be turned off to mobile content by this time next year. The percentage of female mobile content downloaders is expected to triple from 18 percent to 58 percent within the next year. However, the study concluded that women worldwide are 50 percent less likely than men to be aware of the level and diversity of mobile content and services The study assembled samples of 1000 adults from regions including Europe, Asia Pacific, South America and North America.
