According to ABI Research, WiMax may become more mobile sooner than many insiders think. While most do not expect the mobile version of WiMax to hit the market for two years, analysts at ABI point out that the existing version of WiMax can be made more mobile with a few minor adjustments. Two vendors -- TeleCIS and Sequans -- are already working on WiMax-based laptop cards.
