Trend: The rise of "buttonless" phones?

LG and Prada have launched an iPhone-like handset that is missing an integral piece of hardware: buttons. Indeed the rise of the buttonless revolution in handset design has begun and high priced models like Apple's iPhone ($500 or $600) and LG's $770 Prada phone are leading the pack. The LG Prada phone will only be available in Europe and parts of Asia to start, but it will launch in those markets before the iPhone arrives. No plans are in place for a U.S. launch of the Prada phone.
