VeriSign announced trials at three universities to integrate on-campus WiFi to available wide area cellular networks. The service is designed to allow for seamless cellular/WiFi VoIP and data roaming. If the trials go as planned, VeriSign will offer the solution to wireless carriers and large businesses.
