Verizon Wireless kicked off its Developer Community Conference today in San Jose, Calif., and named an advisory board made up of executives in the mobile content industry who will give the carrier feedback on how its app store should evolve, and to serve as liaisons between the wireless behemoth and the developer ecosystem. Executives on the board include those from Gameloft, Capcom Interactive, EA Mobile, Gravity Mobile, iSkoot, Networks In Motion, PacketVideo, Siri, Slacker, Tribal Tech and the Zed Group.
