Virgin Mobile USA is sprucing up its wireless plans by adding three new family plan options for postpaid subscribers. The new plans will be available starting tomorrow.
Virgin will launch a new plan called All-In for $175 per month, which has 4,000 anytime minutes to share and includes unlimited messaging and data services. There is also a new $50 A La Carte plan, which includes 600 shared anytime minutes and unlimited mobile-to-mobile minutes. Additionally, the MVNO said it will add 200 shared anytime minutes to its $100 per month A La Carte plan.
The company is touting the plans as flexible options for families. Virgin has focused of late on the value proposition of its plans.
The company had a net subscriber loss of 133,000 in the first quarter and quarterly revenue of $337 million, below Wall Street expectations of $359 million but 4 percent above the year-ago quarter.
