Who are the highest paid executives in wireline?

Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ) CEO Lowell McAdam and AT&T (NYSE: T) CEO Randall Stephenson are often two of the most highly paid executives in charge of companies with wireless operations. And they're definitely the two executives with the largest compensation packages in wireline telecom. McAdam and Stephenson both saw their compensation rise slightly from 2013 to 2014 (the most recently available numbers). Yet in its rundown of the top 10 executive compensation packages in wireline, FierceTelecom notes that Glen Post, CEO of CenturyLink, saw the largest increase during that period; his pay jumped to $13 million in 2014, up from $9 million in 2013. Likewise, Level 3's CEO Jeff Storey saw his pay jump to $10.1 million from $8 million, a reversal of the decline when he took over as CEO from company founder James Crowe in 2013. FierceWireless will be posting a similar list in the coming weeks, so be on the lookout for that! In the meantime, for the full wireline list, check out this FierceTelecom special report.
