Windows Mobile security flaws

A security firm called Trend Micro has found a pair of security bugs in Microsoft's Windows Mobile OS, which could be exploited to crash phones and other devices running on it. Trend Micro says the bugs are in the mobile version of Internet Explorer and Windows Mobile's Pictures and Video application: Apparently, viewing a corrupted JPEG image file will cause the device to fail. Microsoft is investigating the claims and will provide a software update if needed, but the company doesn't expect any imminent attacks that make use of the bugs.
