Rockliffe, a developer of service provider email software, has added wireless push notification to its flagship product. The new version of the firm's MailSite mail server product aims to help ISPs and hosting companies drive revenues and increase loyalty from their email services. MailSite 7.0 includes support for multiple wireless email management options, including an SMS alert "push email" service. The company notes that adopters can reduce their administration overheads by utilizing the software's deep integration with SQL databases to automate the provisioning and billing of wireless push email and other messaging services. Service provider prices start at $1,250 for 500 mailboxes.
