AOL buys Wildseed, forms new wireless division

AOL has purchased mobile firm Wildseed for an undisclosed sum. Wildseed is best known for SmartSkin, which combines ringtones and games with pre-cut stickers that let you "skin" your cellphone with a new design. AOL will use the acquisition to form a new wireless division that also includes elements from AOL Mobile and Tegic Communications, which AOL acquired in 1999. Article
