Nokia has agreed to buy gate5, a German location-based services (LBS) software provider. Financial terms were not disclosed. But, as FierceWireless points out, MapQuest is one of the top mobile downloads. Nokia expects the market for LBS to reach 15 million units in 2006, nearly double the number in 2005.
