Access has officially changed the name of Palm OS version 5 to "Garnet OS." The change is comply with terms of a deal between Palm and Access, the Japanese conglomerate that swallowed PalmSource. The change is apparently part of the agreement that allowed PalmOne to change its name back to Palm eighteen months ago. Access also debuted a new "Access Powered" logo.
