Spotlight on TechFaith: China's hottest handset design firm

TechFaith is an impressive Chinese startup handset designer. Started by a former Motorola engineer in 2002, the company is now expected to make $39 million this year. An NEC senior general manager described TechFaith as the leading Chinese hardware design house. In 2006 the company hopes to break through internationally and expects to open sales offices in Japan and US before the end of the year. Profile
