ALSO NOTED: Russia approves Wireless Ethernet solution; MACH helps Spanish operator fight fraud

> Canadian wireless vendor DragonWave has reported that its AirPair Wireless Ethernet radio product has been approved by Russia's Ministry of Communications for use throughout Russia. Cedicom of Russia, an integrator in the telecommunication market in Russia and the CIS countries, will offer DragonWave's AirPair Wireless Ethernet solutions of point-to-point microwave radios designed for IP and carrier networks. The AirPair solution delivers a wireless GigE/100bT connection of up to 500Mbit/s full duplex over licenced or unlicenced frequency either indoors or outdoors. Target markets in the region include oil and gas companies with operations in remote areas. Article
