Amdocs clinches Vodafone D2, AAPT deals

Vodafone D2 has selected Amdocs OSS planning and fulfillment products, replacing its in-house developed inventory system.

Amdocs' modular OSS suite will be used as the foundation for the carrier's future OSS architecture for planning and rolling out networks, and introducing and fulfilling new services.

Vodafone D2 will deploy Amdocs OSS to automate processes for network planning and capacity management, fulfillment, and data integrity management and reconciliation.

Meanwhile, AAPT has chosen Amdocs CES 7.5 software for mediation and error management. Amdocs will replace several of AAPT's legacy voice and data mediation systems and provide system integration services and ongoing product support and maintenance.
