Amdocs registered revenue of $706.4 million in the second quarter ended March 31, a 17.5% improvement over the same period last year. GAAP net income was $87.2 million, or $0.40 per diluted share, in the second quarter, from $81.8 million, or $0.38 per diluted share, during the same time last fiscal year.
The company attributed its strong performance to the launch of new products and the award of several contracts, including a managed services deal with AT&T.
For its third fiscal quarter, Amdocs expects revenue of around $710 million to $720 million. For the entire 2007 fiscal year, revenue is seen hitting between $2.83 billion and $2.91 billion.
